Finlandia Foundation National invites applications for its grants program, which awards funds to projects related to Finnish-American and Finnish history, heritage, preservation,
arts and culture.
A 2021 grant from FFN assisted the National Nordic Museum in Seattle in hosting the exhibition, Among Forests and Lakes: Landscape Masterpieces from the Finnish National Gallery. In it, over 50 paintings and prints from the Ateneum Art Museum examine how Finnish artists have depicted the landscape of their native country from the 1850s until the present day.
The documentary Eero Saarinen: The Architect Who Saw the Future, is another example of an FFN grant recipient.

Finlandia Foundation National invites high-quality projects on a competitive basis that relate to past, present or future of Finnish and Finnish-American culture and are characterized by MANY of the following:

THE ENTIRE APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE. You may attach additional pages to the application. Please include the proper headings. Grant applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on January 17. This deadline relates to all application materials, including attachments and letters of recommendation. It is the responsibility of the grant applicant to abide by this deadline. Your application must not exceed 10 pages. Any application exceeding that maximum will be disqualified.
